Must finish cars so I can go onto other things. So 1920s, and I have photos of four cars: three manufacturers from Detroit and one from France; one manufacturer who disappeared from the scene 60 years ago and one that has been around since the earliest years.

There was a decent selection of old cars at Evandale that day, so I thought I'd put up some of the photos I took, by decade. That'll be four posts.



I'll start with the 1940s, although for some strange reason, I don't have many of these :)

A stall at the Evandale Village Fair & Penny Farthing Championships last month. I stopped just long enough to see what was in the boxes.


Car manuals? How dull. Have no interest in cars. Not something I'd every take dozens of photos of, or stand around making eyes at. Bleargh.

The parade displays all the other things that are happening during the day, other than the actual racing and the things for sale stalls



Of course, you always hear these things long before they arrive.
